The Ultimate R1 and R10 use a lens ring clamp for fisheye lenses which have become popular due to its compactness and ease of use. Fanotec lens ring clamps are built with special attention to the safety of lens.

Nodal Ninja Ultimate R1
A single row pano head designed for use with circular and full frame fisheye lenses such as the popular Sigma  8mm  and Nikon 10.5mm, Tokina 10-17, Sunex lens and more. The R1 pano head incorporates a unique cantilever tilting options suitable for different fisheye lens on different sensor formats under different applications. The ring clamp mounts directly onto the lens itself freeing up the camera. Different cameras can be use on the same lens without adjusting any settings.

Nodal Ninja Ultimate R10

 

 

 

Similar to the R1 with the exception of a static or preset tilt. A single row pano head designed for use with circular and full frame fisheye lenses such as the popular Sigma  8mm  and Nikon 10.5mm with more to follow. It is the same as the R1 with the exception of the tilting feature. Each R10 head has a set of 3 built in static tilt options (0 degree and +/- certain degrees).

Currently 4 sub-models with +/- 2.5, +/- 5, +/- 7.5 or +/- 10 degrees are available. When purchasing the R10 you have the option to select which tilt you desire. The ring clamp mounts directly onto the lens itself freeing up the camera. Different cameras can be used on the same lens without adjusting any settings.
The R10 comes with your choice of one ring clamp. Initially, only ring clamps for Sigma 4.5mm, Sunex 5.6mm, Sigma 8mm and 15mm, Nikon 10.5mm and also Tokina 10-17mm with more soon to follow.
