- AMAZON.COM - 5 out of 5 stars - simply WOW
By Ayman A. (Saudi Arabia) I got this package to be able to shoot full spherical panos. Its great! light weight, and the packaging is beautiful. Best of all, its price is unbeatable compared to other pano heads and the quality delivered. To top it off, outstanding customer service from Fanotec. I use it with my Canon 40D + EFS 10-22 / Sigma 8 FE. no issues at all.
- Hi Bill What excitement !! The NN5 has just arrived at my desk in Q8. It’s a thing of beauty and quality and I can’t wait to get it home and put it through its paces. Already I have a few ideas here in Q8 to test it out on. I will probably set it up for the Sigma 12-24mm. I’ll post the results if they pass Quality Assurance ;) Thanks again Regards

By Lincoln G. "infinity_plus_one" (herenow) I am a professional virtual tour photographer. I have shot over 1,300 virtual tours. I have tried numerous panoramic heads, including [deleted], [deleted] and custom fabricated models. The Nodal Ninja performs better than the [deleted] and nearly identical to the $900 [deleted]. However, the Nodal Ninja is about 1/4 the size and weight, and breaks down small enough to fit into your pocket. I highly recommend the Nodal Ninja 3. For the price you can't find a better panoramic tripod head. No quality heads are lighter or more compact. You can't go wrong with this product. Help other customers find the most he
- I’d like to say that my first impression of the NN5 is AWESOME! What a great piece of hardware! I’m pretty excited to get out and give it a try. Cheers

- Hi Bill, I already received a note from your shipping team. Thanks so much! You guys really deserve the praise on the internet for your service!

- Not sure you need any more testimonials but here’s mine. I bought the NN3 MKII and I do Real Estate VT’s. This makes the job so much easier and makes my panoramas go stitch together automatically. I don’t know how I was doing this without a pano head and thatnks to you guys my work as stepped up 10 notches. If anyone is considering geting into panoramic photography let me save you the time and trouble to shop around. I’ve done the shopping, done the research, and contacted other vendors. Nodal Ninja was the best for the money and I am in no way sorry for my purchase. Bill Baily with Nodal Ninja has helped me to understand my needs but wasn’t pushy in trying to sell me more than I needed. I wanted the NN5 but he convinced me to go for the NN3 MKII for my camera. Thanks Bill.

- Hi Bill, What a great surprise! Just got back to work from my Germany Trip, and there it's sitting on my desk! Shiny NN5! And what a beautiful piece of engineering! Rocksolid rotator. And I love the material on the knobs.....really hard and solid. Awesome!

- Woo-hoo - got my Nodal Ninja #5 and I’m happier than a pig in [expletive deleted]. This is just what I’m been needing, sturdy, well engineered and sexy. Thanks guys!!!

- You guys are ridiculous - seems a bit over the top (OTT) with support. Sure I lost a knob (my fault) but damn Bill driving 30 minutes across town to delivery it personally is the type of support I would never expect from anyone. You really do take a special pride in not only the products you sell but in also making us feel special. Clever keeping a box of products in your car, the EZ-Leveler is a sweet little accessory. I will surely recommend Nodal Ninja to anyone who asks. Thank again for OTT service :-) And oh, btw, thanks for the pointers.

- NNL5 is great value for money. Solid built and works perfectly. The only thing which I miss is (cm) scale on one side of lower arm. Beside that NNL5 is flawless. Customer service is superb, the parcel with NNL5 reached my doorstep in less than 5 days (USA-->Poland), everything nicely wraped and secured.

- I would echo the comments: I had purchased my NN3 via a UK reseller, and to cut a long story short the horizontal arm got damaged with usage, nothing wrong with the product it just took a heavy whack that bent the arm. I emailed NN3 for advice and very quickly got a replacement arm delivered through the mail. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. Customer service that is way beyond what I expect and I look forward to making future purchases. (well, apart from actually parting with cash, never did like that bit)

I know the settings come with the CD attached to the package but the moment I got my NN5L I was on my way to Singapore and I only had with me the MacAir which does not have CDrom. I followed the link provided below and found what I needed. Did one simple test and it came out superb. - Mauro, The NN5 and EZ-leveler arrived today. Kudos to Bill for calling me on my cell phone Friday to tell me he had both in stock. That sort of customer service really impressed me. I am even MORE impressed by the actual product. Both the NN5 and EZ-leveler are beautifully machined, precision tools. After seeing the NN5 in person I don't know why anyone would buy a cheap plastic imitation or pay MORE for the competitor's version. There is no doubt in my mind I made a very wise purchase! Please compliment Bill on getting me these products so quickly - well in advance of my shoot. Now I just need to figure out the logistics of creating spherical pano's! It has been a true pleasure doing business with you.

- I've had my NN3 since last October, and I am so, so pleased with it. I have done many 360/180 panos with it, plus a number of high-res mosaics, and I really cannot fault it. It's light in weight and compact, and simply does the job! Congratulations to you and Nick on a superb product. Kind regards

- Bill I appreciate you telling me what other companies are in the market. I’ve looked at them all and see for my 5D your 5L will give me exactly what I need. What’s with [deleted]? Man don’t tell people they even exist, totally negative vibes, it’s like they could care less about customers. Slow to answer emails, condescending remarks like they don’t care about “me”. The heads behind the heads are as, if not more, important than the heads themselves. I looked at some the forums you suggested, not really a chatty chap myself, but I see others speak as I do about [deleted]. Thank you for addressing my concerns, perfect! I wish you great success

- The NN5 is a Superior System, beautifully machined, amazingly strong, and amazingly well thought out. The speed it sets up and the portability combine to make this is a real winner. I love the stops because they are easy to adjust and positive without using undue force that might accidentally move something off line on the tripod, or the tripod itself depending on the terrain..... For the first time user the NN5 is a no brainer to put into action. Nevertheless, I am glad you have meticulous instructions for changing the indent rings, washers, and whatever I have yet to encounter as they are quite detailed from a quick read. Again finding the nodal point and setting up has never been any easier because nothing is moving while I change my setting; this made it a snap with a lens I had not used before for a mosaic. My compliments Bill to you and Nodal Ninjas on making a system that is strong and fits in my bag. I am all smiles here! I will definitely want the stop upgrade on the vertical arm when it is available. Thanks for your help and look forward to a long relationship.

- I already sent you positive feedback shortly after I received my NN3, but now that I've been using it for several weeks, I really wanted to tell you how much I appreciate (love) it! It's so easy to use that I don't even have to think about it. Is there a better definition of a good tool? It just does what it's supposed to and does it so well! It small and light, yet strong enough and clearly well made. I've been taking more panos than ever when I was using one of your competitors tools. Hey, can you design and build my next car!? Thanks! A very satisfied customer

- Just wanted to take the opportunity to say thanks. It took the NN3 less than 4 days to arrive (Japan), tested it last week end and i'm really happy with this purchase. It's worth every penny. Thanks again, and i'm looking forward to the NN5 when i upgrade my DSLR Cheers!

- I bought my Nodal Ninja about three years ago. I have the first model, which have always been working great up to this day. I now own a 40D and it still does the job ! I am not a pro, but I like to be able to make the best possible panoramic photos, and in order to do that I really needed a device such as the nodal ninja...
Inexpensive compared to others, and very easy to use. It is invaluable and I couldn't have made my panoramas without it. The new models are more expensive but as I've read, they offer a great deal of improvements. So that'd be great if I could win one of these top of the art goodies :-D Keep up the good work, Phil. - In praise of nice workmanship . . .My NN3 II was shipped quickly from Rosauro and I couldn't believe the quality when I unpacked it ! (Even my wife was impressed at the 'microscope precision' look of everything) I sat in my car in front of the post office and just stared at the looks of this BEAUTY. The concept and implementation are superb. The black case is very nice and functional too. (I don't usually appreciate when a product comes with a case to make it look 'special') BRAVO !! The EZ-leveler is awesome! I used to mess with my tripod constantly to level it up, now I just make sure the tripod is "level-ish" and then use the ez leveller to adjust quickly. Can't beat it!

- I recently purchased the NN5 and it's definitely a beefy unit! I have my Canon 40D with WFT-E3A wifi grip on it. I just got my pneumatic air mast (for pole aerial photography) and did a few trial runs. I sent the mast up with a motorized pan/tilt head, with the NN5 and Canon40D/WFT-E3A on it, that's about 10lbs of gear. At 49 feet (fully extended) it worked great, eventhough I did have guy wires on the mast and it was leaning over a few feet (that means even more force on the joints on the NN5) It worked flawlessly!

- The combination between NN3 and the appropriate software convinced me that this panoramic head was just for me – especially after I had the opportunity to try the new MKII rotator thanks to your new dealer in Bulgaria. Probably my next purchase will be exactly MKII. I am quite pleased with it and with the last NN3 version on the whole. The new accessory products you have been developing recently also make excellent impression to me.

- Shameless plug for the NN3 (so I can get into the contest and win big. Although, I'm really very happy with the current NN3. Maybe one of those new rotors?) The NN3 is so small and light, that I was able to take it camping and hiking, and yet so accurate that I was able to template my first pano onto the following panos. Contol points? With the NN3, the word is "easy". Let PtGui generate 'em, then go to the control point table, highlight anything over 0.55 and delete it.

- I'm using the G9 now with the NN3. It works like a charm for spherical panos without a fisheye. It does take a LOT of pics to get there, but the quality is higher. I go that route because my output is to large format print.

Used it for a client the next week, generating a QTVR of the pano created of the inside of his restaurant. Very easy to use. I played with it the day prior, then shot the restaurant the next day. Images stitched wonderfully and everyone loved the pano & QTVR. It paid for itself on the first use. Thank you for a great product! Shocked

I bought the MKII rotator for my 2 year old NN3 which by the way has been dropped and abused (sorry) and the thing works like new. The new rotator has much better feel and much easier to use not having to worry about the lock screw. Well done Nodal Ninja team!

- hello, i bought the original and sold that to a friend to upgraded to the NN3. i love this unit, it is inexpensive (compared to most others on the market), well built and easy to use. i mainly create multi-row flat pan images and the NN3 has helped to speed up the stitching process with better alignment of the individual shots. thanks for coming out with such a great product.

- I just couldn't bring myself to the nearly $1000 with all the bells. I decided to put together my own. I have the shop with all the tools to do this. I was in the process of ordering materials and some off the shelf parts when I found the NN 3 mkII. I put all my material purchases on hold and did some quick cost analysis. The result: I can't even buy the materials for an indexed head nodal panoramic head for what I just paid for the NN 3 mkII. Thats not counting what my time is worth to do all the machine work to put one together. For example the Manfrotto 300n indexing head currently sells for $180. Then you need 3 sliding rails and another way to index the upper head for multi-row panographs.
PS I used to do all this in the old days with a tripod with 360 degree markings and a long long long.... time in the darkroom ! Thanks for a great product(NN 3 mkII)........ Carl C. - Nodal Ninja Forum

- I've used the NN3 for about 18 months now, shooting hundreds of panoramas. I've just changed a detent pin for the first time because I could barely feel the clicks-stops. I'd love to upgrade to the MKII or the NN5 just because I like to unpack and use new gadgets but I don't actually need to, my NN3 serves it's purpose just fine.
Henri Nodal Ninja Forum
- wanted to give a quick report of the NN3: Without knowing exactly why, I am getting amazingly accurate stitches on the first try. This is also true for NN5. I suspect that the improved accuracy of the indents with the ball bearing makes it much easier for PTGui to optimize. When walking around with the tripod with camera and NN3/NN5 mounted, the first optimized pano can be used as almost perfect template for the others that were shot near the same location.

- The NEW Nodal Ninja 3 MkII is a fantastic panohead and the improvements to the rotator and detents over the NN3 is significant.

- I received my NN3 Mk2 today and having shot a few interior test shots I must say that this head is great. Some may consider this a downgrade from the likes of othr more expensive options but I beg to differ. Previously I used a (deleted and the results were good a best. I would have to retune the head constantly and even configured perfectly still found the head to sag under the camera weight. For a head that weights less than a quarter of the (deleted, the Nodal Ninja its far superior. It can be locked by plates to keep its setup and does not sag in the slightest. PTgui stitched a 6+2 shot sphere flawlessly with no need to fiddle with control points - that’s what I want - a head that I can take time to produce great shots and not have to worry about alignment errors occurring that can ruin a pano. I would recommend this head to anyone intreated in starting panoramic photography for its simple setup, and further endorse it for professionals because its lightweight, flexible and outperforms heads 2x or more its price. See the results of a super quick test capture thrown into PTGUI via my attachment image - please don’t mind the watermark - now i know this head is perfect I will be moving to PTgui from my previous (more expensive) stitching application. The shot is just a simple 6 row fullframe fisheye in a cofined space to really push the alignment accuracy - results perfect.

- Studying the detailed photographs on your Web pages gave me a fair idea of what the Nodal Ninja 3 looks like, but I was truly surprised and greatly impressed when I finally had one in my own hands to examine. My late father-in-law was a skilled engineer who produced, amongst other things, precision medical equipment. Seeing his work gave me some appreciation of the challenges involved in making exactly calibrated tools. How well you have succeeded in meeting the manufacturing demands of a spherical panoramic tripod head! The build quality is impressive and adds to my confidence that I shall enjoy many years of useful and rewarding service from this photographic tool. While the essence of the design brief for a panoramic head is quite straightforward I recognize that implementing all the consequential details is not. In this you have succeeded marvelously and in particular I note with approval that the Nodal Ninja 3 is a mature product incorporating many refinements, no doubt based on years of experience and problem-solving. Also to be applauded is the reasonable pricing of all the items in your catalogue. I wish you continued and growing success in your business. Creative photographers need dedicated, skilled and sympathetic technicians like you to support what we're trying to achieve with our art. I have completed a number of basic experiments using the Nodal Ninja 3 and the results have been all that I could have wished for at this stage. The head is quick and easy to assemble, thanks in particular to the rail stops, and the E-Z-Leveler simplifies tremendously the sometimes very fiddly task of getting the camera exactly horizontal. With kind regards and best wishes,

- All in all, I am extremely pleased with the NN3. I think it is the most appropriate tool for my needs and it does everthing I require of it. If I were to require another pano head, I would certainly get another NN3 and I would certainly get it from Rosauro. Happy Nodal Ninja 3 user,

- I use my Nodal Ninja all the time in my professional resort photography and especially when out in the field. I thought about the new Nodal Ninja 5 for my Canon 5D but decided to stay with the smaller lighter version. Maybe I'll get the bigger one later.

- Hi Bill, The NN5L rings arrived today - thanks they will be very useful, and they are such beautiful things, just as objects, aren't they. My NN5L arrived last Friday along with the T-30 adapter I ordered from red Door VR. The 'fit, feel and finish' are excellent and it has a very 'pro' appearance. My initial efforts with my D40+10.5 fisheye and my small P5100+WC-E68+T-30 (3 rows of 12 around for 360x180) have been very pleasing. I'm glad I chose the NN5L rather than the NN3 - which would have been quite 'good enough' for either of the cameras - because I actually like it being bigger - I'm not planning to hike with it - and the 'excess length' on the arms provides nice 'handles' with which to move it around.

- So far, I really like what I see. This NN5 is much stronger than my previous QTVR head. I was able to do a quick and dirty pano almost right away and it should work well. I am impressed by it. Look for a Blog post about it on my site soon.

- Excellent product! Why I spent a thousand dollars on a (deleted) I’ll never know. Sure it’s a quality head but certainly does not justify the cost for my purposes. This is testament to the fact that you need to shop around before you buy. In my case I only had to ask once. I’ll sell my (deleted) and take the money saved (or lost) to buy a lens. Thank you Nodal Ninja - you rock!

- Hi Bill, The more I use this Chevy, the more I like it. This is really a nice piece of craftsmanship. Everything fits well, clamps down tight, and it's very easy to use. Swapping out the detent plates is even less fuss than I anticipated. Thanks!

- Hi Bill, I want to thank you for your wonderful product. I'm a professional photographer and I use your head when I travel. I have other products that I use for my professional work. One product that I have was very expensive. $1045 is what it cost me plus shipping. I won't mention its flaws or name manufacturers but one day I decided to use your head with my Canon 15fe lens. I've since purchased other panorama heads because I need to do template stitching on most of my assignments. However I keep your head in my camera bag whenever I go out. Its the best backup a professional can have. Its also the best head to travel with. I also want to thank you for your superb customer service. I've dealt with many companies in the past. Your service tops them all. Great job and keep producing great products for the VR community.

Essentially nothing has changed apart from I now have and extra $300 in my pocket and I'm not in danger of injuring myself from carrying around a panoramic head. THe NN3 is about 1/3 of the weight and packs down for more conveniently for traveling. Great product - thanks

- Bill- Thanks for taking care of me. I did indeed get the NN5! Although the 5 looks like it will become my go to rig, the 3 will stay in my camera bag for a long time. My initial impressions: Hefty feel, thick arms nice finish. Rotator detent screw adjuster makes getting the feel of the detents a breeze without screwing up the rotator operation. Camera plate looks to make the setup faster. Damn, it's big. I wonder if and how the friction control knob on the side of the rotator is going to effect nadir stitching. The upper rotator detents are pretty stiff, I'll have to adjust them. The bubble level works! Yay! Please pass on my congratulations to Nick for a successful product launch. And, thank him for his efforts and his commitment to our little niche of photography. Hope you have a great '08!

- I love Panoramas and have struggled making good ones w/o a pan head. I did some homework, found your product and the new NN5! Pre-ordered it, and WOW! First, I'm amazed at how beautifully made it is. Second, but even more important, I was able to set it up and use it in about 10 minutes from start to finish, even with a change of detent plate included. First series of shots came out dead bang perfect on the first try... absolutely perfect stitch, no parallax error, no ghosting. I'm impressed. Thank you... my panoramic world just got a whole lot easier and a whole lot better. Love the nice case etc., too. Best,

- Superb service and packaging. In eagerness to find the camera lens's nodal point, much to my partner's annoyance, I have taken over the brightest and longest room of the house, the kitchen. No supper tonight! I have read so many favourable reviews of the NN3 but now I have it in my hands, rather on my tripod, no words can do the service and the device justice. Thanks Bill & Nick!

- Very interesting product, key assets are: the small size, the light weight and the reasonable price.
I absolutely love the small hard shelled case which fits into my pocket. ;-) I have to recognize that the NN3 in it's simplicity is very functional, robust and well engineered. A great asset, considerably reducing post-pro time is the possibility to shoot the nadir avoiding the tripod footprint in the image, by simply unscrewing and turning the vertical element. To my knowledge the NN3 is the only head on the market having this feature. VRMag.org
- I have given my Nodal Ninja a real workout over two months of professional tourism/resort photography sphere images that includes trekking for miles in very rugged terrain. It's light, quick, easy to set up, easy to use, well thought out, and otherwise a fine and well made panorama head. Thanks for a permanent addition to my photo kit. I've already thrown away my former pano heads.

- Hi I purchased a Nodal Ninja recently and I wanted to post my results. The first thing you notice when you open the box is how well made it is. It is solid aluminum and there is no bend in it at all. It comes in two pieces with all of the accessories you might ever need for it (extra pads, extra plates, hex driver, etc) I was able to put it together and mount it on my Manfrotto 925b and mount my Pentax K10D on it in about 2 minutes without ever looking at the manual. I then took a quick glance to see about determining entrance points, and was taking pictures on my porch within 5 minutes. Very simple to use and very solid feeling..... I know there are other ones out there for a lot more money, but I can honestly say I can't imagine what might be better about them. The Ninja is built to last forever, and the customer support cannot be beat. Highly recommended.
Micheal K. (dpreview forum)
- Bill, Wow.... I wasn't expecting that.... Thank you very much for the gesture, I sincerely appreciate it. I've been looking over forums etc for a while, researching panoramic heads, and I realised that you had a class outfit, but I have to say I really am taken aback, not to mention thoroughly impressed, by just how much you genuinely want your customers to be happy with their Nodal Ninja experience. Bravo! You have just relegated B&H and 17th Street Photo to positions 2 and 3 on my mental list of photography good guys! Once again, many thanks,
Graham L. United Kingdom
- Hi. I just bought the NN3 last week. It was ordered from Rosauro (Canadian Reseller) and the experience was first rate. I've already shot many dozens of panos with it and I like it very much....Before closing this message, I wish to once again assert that I am a happy user..... If you do not change a thing about your detent system or your product, I will continue to use, enjoy, and recommend it. I can do what I want to do with it by putting in the plate with only two detents and using the smooth areas, however, when you're shooting at sunset and trying to take the pano as quickly as possible because of the rapidly changing light conditions, the detents are a God send. A very happy user,

- Hi Folks, I bought one of the NN3 pano heads after reading the comments on these forums and I have been well impressed with it since. A well constructed piece of equipment an well priced. Unfortunately, I managed to damage my NN3 and from that experience I am even more of a fan of the NN3 as I found that their customer service is second to none. I contacted Fanotec for advice after damaging the NN3 and I was bowled over by the quick response and by a quick replacement part shipped over from the states. Often I read customer reviews on web sites and seldom believe the comments. I have to say though, I now believe all I read about Fanotec and the Nodal Ninja. If anyone is considering buying a panohead, consider the NN3. To my mind, you really cant go wrong with the NN3.

All credit pass on to Mr. Bill - NN3. Many thanks for proving camera set up to start using NN3 as soon as its in my hand. - It was a quiet night on Mawson Station. Many people stayed up until the early hours of the morning watching a very spectacular aurora display over the station. Max temp:-4.0Min temp:-13.2 Max wind gust: SSE 57knots. This is a beautiful place for photography. I use a Nikon D200 with Nikon 17-55mm and 10.5mm lenses, this being mounted on my Nodal Ninja atop a Manfrotto Tripod 3001BN with the Manfrotto 3265 Vertcial Hand Grip. - Several years ago, when I discovered the liberating combination of digital camera and multi-exposure panorama, I knew, someday, I would probably end up either getting some expensive setup (having started with a point-and-shoot camera, or never attempt a panorama again. Needless to say, with Canon releasing the 300d, the panorama addiction grew. Then I discovered the ridiculously amazing works featured on sites such as www.panoramas.dk, and I knew I was going to have to get a well made tripod head in order to have the ease of precision that is afforded to the pros. The last straw in my age of freehand panoramas was a commissioned work for a large-scale backdrop for a museum on a shoe-string budget. Shooting the pictures was easy - shot about 30 in two minutes. But then came stitching and correcting them. It was a nightmare. 20 hours of Photoshop gave me a releasable product, but I swore off shooting panoramas unassisted unless it was an emergency.
So I then looked on the net for a suitable pano-head. I have to admit: When I first looked at the Nodal Ninja, I wondered whether it would work with a setup using a 5D body. But it was the most affordable and portable rig I could find. When I put it to use though, I was glad I had gotten the T-adapter as well. The learning curve with this device is non-existent, and I got immediate results with 30min of trial and error (possibly less if I had used the grid technique)......To finish, all I really wanted to say was I appreciate having such a well-made panoramic head made available for such an excellent price. (next to filters and a camera rain cover, it's the least expensive piece of gear in my kit) It works with the Canon 5D setup perfectly, and I can't imagine not working without it (even though I really know I had to before). I haven’t had a chance to experience your talked about support because I haven’t had a change to even use it. I also own a (deleted) and it’s for sale if you’re interested. - Just received my Nodal Ninja 3 the other day, just wanted to let you know I appreciate the fast delivery and the exceptional build quality of your product. Your product obviously reflects your attention to detail and the product performs flawlessly! I actually ordered the 2-3 day express delivery, ordered it on Tuesday and the post office tried to deliver it on Wednesday afternoon! Excellent customer service, can't wait to shoot with it! Thanks again.

My real estate virtual tours look great and I actually sold a property site-unseen...they only saw my virtual tour! Great product at a great price!! Just had to drop you a line to say thanks! - Nodal Ninja is truly a great product and I spend much less time stitching panoramas than I did before hand. BY taking two images of the floor, my bottom cap is reduced as much as possible so I can generate the largest possible view. After using the Nodal Ninja, I can't imagine ever taking another panorama without it! Best Regards,

- Dear Nick and Bill, I’ve been a customer for a couple of years. Just sold my old SPH-1 on eBay for $110!! That’s only $9 less than I had orginally paid. Not bad after 2 years of use and it was still working perfectly. Because the older model withstood the test of time I had to jump in and buy the new NN3 and I wasn’t dissappointed. NN3 is nice and light, and easy to use, I love the 45/60 clcik stop plate.....Thanks guys, wish you the best of success!! Cheers,

I have been making large panoramas of the interior, for years with great difficulty. Upon getting the Nodal Ninja, I immediately started a new panorama project for the theater. - Hi Nick and Bill WOW, The NN3 arrived today in the post!!! What outstanding service and speed, truly an amazing conclusion to sorting out the NN order. Many thanks to you both for looking into the issue and providing such an outstanding result. Tried the NN3 today and the ease of use is so much better than the NN2. The NN2 was good but the improved arm and mounting for the camera is so much better.

- Hi Bill, I can not explain how happy I am with the NN 3. Installing, setting for my Nikon was so easy. In the meantime I did three 360? Panos. How many of my time was wasted to plan, buy stuff, screwing, sawing...to built a DIY Pano-Adapter. And always it took a lot of time to set up the heavy beast with three spirit levels.... IT WAS BORING ! 110% satisfied I wrote: I will tell this to my colleges in the forum. Done !

I read and heard about lots of people having excellent experience with you and the pano head you sell, and it looks like I'm having one, too. I was doing things by hand before but now that I have this Nodal Ninja I can keep it in my bag (fits nicely) and use it whenever I do my panoramas. And the tutorial on your website (I do use different software however) has helped me to fine tune my techniques. Many thanks

- You may remember that the other day I explained my dilemma about what lens to buy to go with my NN3, EOS20D, PTGui & Pano2QTVR setup. Well, I plumped for the Tokina 10-17mm AT-X 107 DX Fisheye in the end.... The Tokina fits perfectly - it is only a little larger than the Canon 18-55mm kit lens. I took my time setting the rig up to eliminate parallax and I have been rewarded with some very successful panos. Thanks again for all your help

- Nick, you have a designed a product that suits my needs perfectly! I travel allot and always on the go, being single is tough :-). I don’t do panoramas for a living but probably take more panoramas that many pros. It’s a fun and a very exciting aspect of photography. The fact I can hike out into the desert or climb some hills and easily tuck this is bag is what sold me. The build quality, detents, and handy little case (snug fit) only adds it it’s lure. Bill is tops! Give him a raise, opps, maybe not or you would have to raise the price :-). All kidding aside I hope you add this testimonial to your page as your panorama head is an excellent value for it’s price.

- I just thought I would drop in a note about Nodal Ninja. Compared to other pano heads, it's smaller, lighter and significantly less money. I was going to build anothr head, this time for my D200, but splurged on the NN3...I'm impressed. I can't say it's better than other pano heads because I haven't used other heads. But it's fast and easy and very compact for taking along with you.....I'm using it with the D200 and the 18-200 lens at 18. You have to pull it all the way back on the top rail to get the nodal point, but it works great and helps speed panorama factory along to make QTVR/Panoramas. I find at 18 degrees, 10 shots works perfectly for a full QTVR. With a adaptor, you can shoot horizontal, landscape mode panoramas. I love this thing! I use Panorama Factory but also have tried a number of other programs like Hugin for the MAC, Photovista etc. The NN3 is mounted on a Manfrotto Ball Head (488rcd) on a 3021Pro Manfrotto Tripod.

- While the lighter weight of the NN3 is attractive, given transatlantic travels, I find the price of the discontinued SPH-2sd more so, in light of my relative inexperience in panos. I also like the fact that your product is partially pre-assembled, that it is well tooled (from reports on dpreview) and that it comes in a case.

- “First Panorama with Nodal Ninja 3” I have to give two thumbs up to Nodal Ninja 3 at this time. I got the full kit which included the T-Adapter so I could do landscape panoramas in addition to a full spherical. It seemed like I figured out the Entrance Pupil for my Tamron 17-50 so I went out to San Diego Bay to try it out. What a piece of cake! I set my D70 to Aperture mode and set my focus to Manual after setting the Hyper focal distance. All I needed to do at that point was push the shutter, rotate 30 degrees and repeat. I didn't need to look through the viewfinder or anything else. It took about 15 seconds to shoot and I was done.

- “Review of the Nodal Ninja"
Early thoughts on the Nodal Ninja I've recently acquired. The slings and arrows of life have kept me too busy to do anything with my Nodal Ninja until now; I've finally "calibrated" one of my lenses. Well thought out, well engineered, and very well made, and reasonably priced. Designed to be used with the camera vertical....Based on the pictures done while finding the "nodal" point of my 18-70mm at 18mm, (78mm set back on the Nodal Ninja) I think it will do just fine. - Hi Bill, That's brilliant. Much appreciate it. I’ve just put the NN together and I think it's brilliant. I had a (deleted) before which cost about $450 over here and it was crap. Absolutely terrible workmanship and so many design flaws. So happy new year and keep up the good work

- Thanks for the parts - arrived today. Excellent. Went out with the nn3 and managed to take the attached last night. Overlap wasn't quite enough (will be great with the n=20 disk you sent me), so you can just about see the joins in the sky, but pretty excellent anyway. The stitching process (10 images) in ptgui was the easiest ever due to the consistent overlaps and perfectly vertical images. Images were taken with my Canon 30D and new Canon 17-55 f2.8 - a superbly sharp lens and ideally suited to panos. Regards,
Mike T. Australia (Canon 30D, 17-55)
- Bill, Thanks again for all you've done to make this transaction go great including the express shipping... Even with the rough weather around here the NN3's arrived about an hour ago and I've already been playing with one of them trying to see exactly how they work, w/o reading the manual of course! I will need to print it out and do some studying as this is a really well-designed and capable piece of equipment. Had some doubts re using every-other detent to get e.g. 36 degree intervals but this turns out to be no problem at all, easy to skip right by the first one by "feel" and then there you are ready for the next shot. So thanks to you for your good support here in the states, and for making this transaction easy, and to Nick for continuing to improve the design!
Charlie C. (Canon XTi w/18-55 kit lens )
- Bill, Thank you for sending the 15/18 detent disc.... I have been doing cylindrical panos for 5+ years so I really like how I can now do the full sphere without the 5+ need for a super wide angle or fisheye lens. Your product is certainly the best I have seen and used for size, weight and price. Most appreciated,

- Please add this to your testimonial site....your product is superior, I haven’t had to use your support but have heard it’s superior as well. I use Nodal Ninja on almost a daily basis for work and play. I had to take a recent flight and the guy at the security gate asked me to explain what it was. Guess when they saw it folded up that I might be concealing something dangerous. Product and support are the two main ingredients to success and of course price. It’s good to know I have a company behind me if something breaks or goes wrong.
Mic W. Berlin Germany
- The only thing I see that I don’t like about Nodal Ninja is the wearing out of brass parts. I’ve shot 100’s of panos with NN3 thus far and haven’t yet needed to replace any wear parts. Thanks for adding in the extra parts, I won’t have to bother you when the time comes to finally replace the detent pin.

- OKAY, you have rave reviews but let’s see if you post this one. I’m not happy with with your Nodal Ninja, why? Because it doesn’t fit medium format cameras. The design and build quality are undeniably but it just doesn’t support the big guns. I’m not going to return it though as I may step down to a DSLR one day. So with that said I do believe that once I step into the world of DSLR I feel this will be a welcomed addition to my gear. Regards

- I just bought a used Nodal Ninja on eBay. I was disappointed to hear you don’t offer a warranty but with the model being over 2 years old I understand. This Nodal Ninja was sent through the grinder but it all still works perfectly. I do single row pano’s and had to send you an e-mail telling you and your readers (assuming you want to post this on your website) that the product is smartly designed. I’m a bit of cheap guy and would buy used before buying new but may after a few months consider the new model for it’s click stop feature. Good luck and keep on keeping on.

But I am happy to report the pano head was just fine. I took it out out hooked it up and it works great! It’s perfect for my needs (Real Estate QTVR’s). I did have a bit of trouble with it at first and appreciate how fast you were to offer the quick fix that was also posted on your website FAQ page. Apparently it just needed some tightening. It shows company concern for consumer satisfaction. Thank you very much and wishing you the best of success for 2007.

- Nick, I love this design. I do a lot of travel so size and weight are important considerations for me. For the money your product fits the bill perfectly. Personally I don’t using click stops because I shot at so many different focal length so having a ring with 0 clicks is best for my Tamron 18-200 lens. Thank you.
Rodriguez R. Spain (Canon 20D 18-200 Tamron)
- Hey Bill, Just wanted to thank you for your support... and I haven't even received the items yet! LOL... I did just order my Nikon D80 today. I know for sure I'll be using the Panoweaver software, it's not the 4.0 to start out with, but actually the 3.01 software. I look forward to receiving NN3 here shortly. Again, Thanks for taking the time to work with me on this... I'm sure to be contacting the forum for long term advise...

- I really appreciate it! I think your product is by far the best on the market when it comes to price/value/usability. I am really glad that your business is going well and I'm grateful that you take care of old customers like me! You can bet that anyone who asks me about panoramic heads is directed your way. I actually get quite a few inquiries about my panoramas and how I made them and Nodal Ninja and PTGUi are the two products I always recommend! Again, thanks so much!
Greg T. Fort Worth Texas (Nikon D200 10.5mm Nikkor)
- So far, the new NN3 is working like a charm...Do you know that the gentle vibration transmitted by the detents of NN3 on each click are helpful to keep the sensor of digital camera clean of dust particles by getting them off the sensor?
Dorin G. Romania
- Bill: Thanks for the offer to refund the NN3 purchase. The NN3 is actually a great device, it's very compact and great for travelling. The (deleted) is too big and heavy for travelling. I agree that templates are not possible but I am still very happy with the NN3, it does what you claim, so I will keep it, thanks. By the way should anyone ask the Canon 5D and Canon 15mm Fisheye set-up is as follows.

- You've definitely gained a customer Bill and I got to say that you've got the best customer service I have ever experienced, I will definitely buy from you again without a doubt, the quality of NN3 is absolutely incredible and so is the customer service. Best regards

- Wasn’t sure what all the hubbub was about until I decided to buy and try a Nodal Ninja. Nick has developed an excellent product at a very fair price. I do a lot of Real Estate VR work ad like to get in and out quickly. I’ll now be selling my (deleted) - no comparison! Thanks Nick and Bill.

- I got the NN3 this morning as a part of my of my deal with Bill Bailey. Man, I am impressed! It weighs like a feather and surprisingly stable for such light weight. I produced first pano in ten minutes after opening the package :-) NN3 will definitely take place in my bag.

- Hi Bill, picked my NN3 up Tues morning just gone and was not disappointed in any way at all. It so far looks like everything I could possible want in a panoramic head, lightweight, sturdy and 'cool' looking..I can see this line of work becoming truly addictive with limitless possibilities maybe. Thanks again for what looks like a great product - I'm sure I'll have great fun using it! best regards

- NN3 is an obvious improvement on an already outstanding bit of engineering. It's light, sturdy, and functional. From the moment it came out of the box, I appreciated the new design and attention to detail. All of the arms move very precisely and hold fast when adjusted. The switchable detent discs and supplied thread adapter are welcome upgrades. It's clearly evident that a lot of thought and likely implementation of customer feedback went into the new design. Beyond the functional changes, it looks good. It seems to have a more refined, almost automotive or architectural style. Thanks again,
Dean F. USA
- Perfect and fast delivery. Box received in good order (was marked 'extremely urgent' - always good to feel important :-) The rig is of excellent quality....I immediately installed the 15-degrees index ring. 15-30-45-60 is an excellent range and can be read on the degrees scale (easier than 12-24-36-48. The 20mm extender-T is an essential accessory - it delivers both extra height (necessary for 77mm filter diameter lenses like the 17-40L) and extra depth. Without it it wouldn't be possible to use a 20D or 5D with the 17-40. Thanks for the good service and good luck with the business.
Henk, Netherlands
- From what I've seen on the market so far, you have the best product for cost. Simple yet durable, fully functional yet inexpensive... and the portability is the big bonus! Especially for me since I'm a backpacker and usually shoot in VERY remote locations. I don't know why everyone else is asking so much for these convoluted, bulky types of setups... YOU have the RIGHT idea! Realistically, a head like this should not cost more than the camera it's holding. Thank you for selling a product that lets us up and coming "starving artist" types play on a par with all the big shooters.
Jason L. USA (Nikon D70S w/ Tokina AF 19-35mm)
- Just a quick note of thanks - the NN3 arrived yesterday all safe and sound. I have to say that the appearance and quality strikes me as being second to none - a bit like your service and support, really! Cheers

- I was on the summit of Kendall Mtn, 13,066 ft, above Silverton, CO, for sunrise. ~25 deg and enough wind to take down my tripod with ~10# pack hanging from the center. I was ~20 ft away trying to get out of the wind. Luckily NN3 took ALL of the abuse and the $1000 camera and lens were undamaged. Not bad, would you say!!! I was so cold I just packed up everything and ran down the mountain. Thanks

- Hey Bill,I just got it today (09/12)! Man, this head is really cool stuff, congratulations! I'll set it up for my camera tomorrow... I guess that shooting panos will be even more fun now. :) The look and feeling of it are even better than I imagined, very well developed and built and absolutely streamlined. Beautiful! I very much appreciate your support, it's awesome! I'd read some very good comments about it on some forum, panoguide I guess, but now I had the chance to go through it myself and I'm very happy about it. Thanks a lot once more,

- Hi, Bill: I shot 6+2 with the Sigma and PTMac/Emblend cleaned it up nicely. For the first time ever, I can shoot a good zenith!! What a huge difference in my work. Not to mention cutting the weight of my rig in half. I also got a carbon fibre tripod made by Amvona (China knockoff of a Gitzo) from eBay. I'm really happy to have a rig that comes in at just a skosh over 4 kg. I've got the 10.5, I guess now is the time to learn to use it...cheers!

- Hello Bill, thank you very much for producing and sending the NN3. A lot of work must have flown into this excellent product. It is really great. I just received it yesterday and like it alot. It is way better than another panoramic head I used before - more sturdy, smaller, more professional. Take care

- The Nodal Ninja arrived this afternoon, Bill. I hooked it up to my Konica Minolta 7d with an 85mm lens and it worked beautifully. Thanks so much for the extra effort in getting it to me. I hope to add to your testimonials page in a couple of weeks. Should anyone from Mexico ask for the Nodal Ninja, you can tell them that the only additional charge was $310 pesos (about US $30) at customs. Thanks again. I am very pleased.

- Bill, ...I really appreciate the personalized service that you provide. I'm always one to support a small business venture. That's particularly true when the product is good and fills a genuine need, like yours.... This feels almost like the corner family hardware store where I grew up. It was all about the service. They might not have everything right now, but they could get it. And, they wouldn't sell it to you if they didn't think it was exactly what you needed. Thanks again,

- The line of Ninja Pano heads has steadily improved over a very short period . The Ninja 2 was fully workable and made excellent panos. The ninja three which is still new to me. has hugely improved engineering, and is both nice to look at, but more important is excellent to use. This young company is in a constant state of product development, and I look forward to seeing their next offerings. I think what people will be impressed by most is the standard of customer service. All the same features at hundreds less. I say YES to buying Ninja Ninja if you plan on doing any type of panoramas.

- Mine arrived yesterday - Thanks Nick. The new rotator does seem to be a bit of an improvement on the old one, but I am staying with the 15 degree indent plate as it allows me to go with either a 4 or 6 around without having to change anything. Definitely appears to be lighter with the use of the plastic knobs - but they appear to be very sturdy....All in all I am very happy, this product seems to get better with every release and at the price it is definitely a bargain! There's about 10mm clearance above the central knob as the camera is swung into position....my first test pano came out well with good alignment of up and down shots. Time taken to unpack from the carrying case and assemble the head and camera on the tripod is about 90 seconds. John H. UK

- Hi Bill, Your service is just too good to be true. It's a real pleasure working with someone that knows customer service forward and backward. First just so you know, it is possible to swing the arm straight up to shoot a zenith with this camera and lens. It takes 8 shots to make a full 360 by 180 in portrait mode - 6 shots around, every 60 degrees and 1 up and down shot....My first shoot today went quite well and the stitching is working very well. It looks quite probable that I'll be extending my eval for quite some time - just a joke there - I'm pretty sure at this point that you've got a new happy customer.

- This is pretty nice. I see a lot of thought went into the design. It has a professional look to it as well and I’m not embarrassed to use it in public. Okay I might be a little vain but this isn’t like some of those Rube Goldberg tripod heads out there. And thanks for the rebate off Panoweaver. Good Luck Guys!

- Hi, Nick did his homework on the new NN3 ;-) I’m very impressed with the quality. Making a light pano head even lighter and stronger works for me because I travel a lot and put this in my carryon luggage. The reversible detent plate is great too. I see I can reverse the one it came with but actually prefer having the 30 click stops. Works with the 8 and 10.5. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a quality pano head without spending tons of cash. thanks again and kudos

- Hi - just got my new NN3 in - WOW!! Did a couple quickie panos in my living room and like the click stops. Easy to use and setup. I’m using a D200 with 10.5mm lens. It was well worth the wait. Having used the SPH-1 for for the last year and half this is a BIG upgrade. It looks great too! I’m only sorry the click stop plates are on backorder as I wanted to try them out with different lenses. Well done Nick - anyone else thinking about a pano head - give this a try - it’s highly recommended - excellent support team too. thanks again

- Hello Bill, This is Tsun. I purchased your Nodal Ninja about 6 weeks ago and I had planned on using it to record the Himalayan Mountains. Well, I'm back! Took quite a few sequences for stitching. So far all look pretty good. Problem was the enormous dynamic range I experienced at over three mile elevation! Anyway, I really put the Nodal Ninja to a baptism by fire! I have suggestions on improving it and on HOW to use it. I disagree with the user manual in many many areas! But I still think that this is the best pano head. It's even better than my (deleted) unit which cost me about five time MORE! I've also bought parts from Bogen/Manfrotto and the combine price even exceeds that of my (deleted) and it was a total kluge! One very good feature of the Nodal Ninja, besides its rigidity is that it can be easily 'field-stripped' and cleaned. In some parts of our journey, it was rather dusty so before I put the head back in my bag, I cleaned it out so the dust won't be brought into my bag and polluted my D70, Fuji S2 and the several lenses I had in it. All of my panos were done with my D70 and with the 'kit' lens set at 18mm. I used it both in the landscape and the portrait orientation. To carry as little weight as possible, I brought along my newly acquired (just for this trip) Manfrotto 714B tripod. I mated it with a Manfrotto 3299 quick release adapter to which I had the quick release plate attached to the Nodal Ninja. Works wonderfully! Regards,
Tsun T. Closter, NJ
- The Ninja Nodal works great with the new Olympus E-300 (Evolt)....it is actually very versatile because I can switch the direction of the mounting plates to suit my camera body.

- Thanks for the followup Bill. Set up the NN and calibrated it for my Nikon D100 without mishap. A real rarity for me! My very first shots were almost perfect -- just had to reposition the camera on the upper arm to place the nodal point a little closer to that arm's pivot point. After that: 100%! Great product and reasonably priced for the quality!
Charlie B. Vernon, CT
- Since we have purchased the Ninja, our results have been %110 better than using the tripod and leveling it and using software out there. Not only has the Ninja saved time but, it has also saved stitching errors. Thank you for your support and help.

- As I have come to expect, your customer service is above and beyond expectations. And thanks for your honesty above and beyond the call of necessity. - I'm using a Nikon D70 mounted vertically with a Sigma 8mm lens to shoot HDR panoramas. I'm shooting four positions at 90 degree increments. The Nodal Ninja has been a good solution for me so far. It's economical, lightweight and easy to assemble quickly. Thanks!
Evan J. Toronto, Ontario Canada
- I'd just like to say that the Nodal Ninja SPH-1 has been a great tool in this first month of use! The finish is excellent, the construction sturdy, and the price unbeatable. My Panasonic DMC-LC5 works well with it, however I wish the off-axial adapter had slightly greater adjustment. The Nodal Ninja allows me to get close enough to the nodal point of my camera without too much parallax occurring. As a newcomer to panoramic photography, the Nodal Ninja has been a great investment. I was also very impressed by the next-day shipping of my order! Sincerely,
Geoff F Santa Cruz, CA
- I am using a Sigma SD10 -- without the external power pack/battery holder -- and the head works with that body and my 50mm/2.8 EX Macro lens, as well as the 18-50 and 55-200 kit lenses. The Nodal Ninja is easily capable of supporting this camera and a reasonable lens, and with the offset adapter can be used to hold the camera horizontally or vertically. Multi-row panoramas (why I bought the head) will be no problem.....I think your product rocks!
Sincerely, John C. Bellevue, Washington
- Hello Bill, Thanks for letting me know the Nodal Ninja has shipped. You seem very much focused on customer service, easy to use website, keeping the customer informed, something I appreciate and try to acknowledge wherever possible. Thank you. In addition, it is nice to connect a human being with a company. I am looking forward to using the Nodal Ninja with my Nikon D70. Regards,

- Hi Bill, The Nodal Ninja was received Thursday, I think. I made a pano with it Saturday and it was easy to set up and determine the node. I had hand-held my Nikon D70+10.5mm before which makes it tricky to create panos in PTMac, which I am learning to use. It's simple(r) with a pano-head and tripod. HA I like the NN's sturdy construction, ease of use, simplicity, and price. Your service and communications with me were very helpful. I'm going to enjoy using this device.
John F. New Albany, OH
- I received the Nodal Ninja some week ago and after some week of test I'm very please of this product. The construction of the bracket is very impressive. The graduate rules on the different arm of the bracket are very well engraved. The rotation around the vertical axis are quite smooth. Finally, the bracket is very stable with a Coolpix 5000. I do not try other high grade panoramic head, like the (deleted) or the (deleted). These products are surely well made ... but 499$ for a (deleted) spherical head ... no thanks !
Ed - newsgroup posting
- I’m an amateur photographer and just started using digital photo equipment. I bought a Coolpix 8700 and after playing with the panoramic software they include in there package I decided to learn a bit more. Releasing how important this nodal point thing a friend of mine suggested a getting a adapter for my tripod so as to eliminate the parallax errors I was having. Didn’t take much to realize the Nodal Ninja was right for me, inexpensive and does the job perfectly. Love the little carrying case too. My next investment might be some panoramic software but in the mean time at least I can create fun panoramic’s around the house and yard.
Mark B. Sarasota Florida
- I don’t understand why some companies charge so much for the pano adapters - all they’re made of is metal - some plastic. Finally a company comes along offering a decent quality product at a decent price. I haven’t bought a Nodal Ninja because I already own the expensive (deleted) (my configuration approx. $550). I would surely recommend anyone needing a pano head to consider saving a few bucks and consider the Nodal Ninja. Anyone want to buy a used (deleted)?

- The first thing I have to say: you guys at Nodal Ninja are that you are doing a very good job and representing yourselves on the many many forum posts that I have read recently while researching this whole panoramic head market. Thanks for you quick response, I respect companies with responsive customer service.

- Hi Bill, FYI I wanted to let you know I attended a meeting in Seattle that was having a demo on Realviz & (deleted) and afterwards I carried in your Nodal Ninga and Quite a few of the people were impressed and even the presenter from San Francisco was very interested, So you probably will get a few orders from the Seattle Area. Living 150 miles from anywhere in Selah WA, It is a treat to find an actual hands on demo and anybody who even has an Idea of how to go about this process I am working on a business plan for Small start up that centers around all the elements using panoramas and It Was nice to let them know a Real Person Responded to my Inquiry from a supplier. - Bill It arrived today. In fact I have it on my tripod and ready to try out. I appreciate all your help and speedy replies. I am most impressed with your level of service. Your unit is much better than my home made device, although mine did work. But the asthetics count as now I can at least look like I know what I am doing. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for your efforts and patients. I can say I will be a very happy users. Thank You,

- I'm using NN with an Olympus E-500 with a 14-54 lens. (deleted) wasn't up to the task, but NN does just fine. I purchased the standard version (SPH-2S) and have a full range of movement except for straight up. For me, that's not a problem. I removed the set screw that does click stops as I prefer no stops. Once I did this I could rotate the mechanism counter clockwise and the tightening knob didn't loosen!

- Thanks Bill, I just got through stitching together the first few panoramas I took yesterday using the nodal Ninja and I must say they worked out very well. The Ninja does that job at a very reasonable price and should pay for itself in no time.

- Hi Bill, I purchased the SPH-2L earlier in the week and received it yesterday. Although I haven't yet had a chance to use it, I am very impressed so far with the quality and compactness of the design - much smaller than my (deleted) but just as sturdy, maybe more so. I especially like the ability to break it down and stow it in the travel case - great for travel and hiking! Regards

- Hi Bill, the unit came yesterday and works great! I want to thank you again for your kindness and great services. To bad that there aren’t more co.’s and people like you around. I use this for bird watching as a substitute for the Wimberley Sidekick (SK-100). I know your tripod bracket was primarily designed for shooting panoramics but thought others would like to know it works well for us bird watchers as a substitute for Wimberley Sidekick bracket. Great product - Thank you again

- Bill, the customizability of the Nodal Ninja is very impressive:
1) Being able to change the click stops to various strengths (strong, off completely, or my preferred method, as light suggestions that can be ignored with longer lenses or used as every other stop reminders). 2) Resistance of both arm rotations. I definitely can tilt the base to take overhead shots and have enough resistance to keep the camera in place! This is a big deal to me! 3) I've found it easy with the parts provided to set the camera up in landscape mode on the main base for quicker, single row panoramas. I don't anticipate using this often, but it's great to know it's possible (still getting used to shooting predominantly in the portrait orientation). Thank you Rich M. Dartmouth, New Hampshire

- Thanks a lot for making a good quality head for a fraction of what everyone else charges! Until I came across your stuff, I was ready to settle with building my own simplified pano head.

- Dear Bill - I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you so much for the outstanding customer service you demonstrated last week. The CP4500 adapter plate was left out of my SPH2-L order, and I shot you a quick e-mail last week to that effect.
I think that you must have read the e-mail within minutes of my sending it, and had the plate in the FedEx overnight shipping within minutes of that - I received it the next day!!!! Unbelievable. In this day and age, it is truly refreshing to encounter a company \ individual who actually cares about customer service. Thank you!!! You have made a believer out of me. Thanks in advance ..... - Mr. Bailey, Thank you very much for the quick response. I have already spread the word about the design/ value of the NN to a few photo friends, and I will be sure to add high regards for your excellent customer service. Others on the internet have spoken very highly of their interactions with NN, and I'll certainly be doing the same. I wish my dealings with other internet vendors were so positive! Thanks,
